Cyndy is the Education co-PI of both the Hydrology and Soil Moisture GLOBE Investigation Teams. She has worked with GLOBE since 1996 developing materials for the GLOBE Teacher's Guide, preparing new training materials and participating in over 60 teacher training workshops, both in the US and internationally. In addition, she has been active preparing the new Student Inquiry Material for GLOBE
Cyndy has a BA in Secondary Social Studies Education, an MS in cultural geography and advanced graduate work in biogeography. Besides working with GLOBE, Cyndy serves as a curriculum consultant and writer of children’s materials. Her most recent publication was "The Fossil Hunting Hound" that appeared in the January 1999 issue of Highlights Magazine.
