GLOBE III Planning
Guidelines: We have been tasked to develop outlines of (by 12/2):
- One K-3 learning activity
- One activity that promotes the analysis of multiple data sets using the archive.
- Protocols as needed to support the new Earth Systems module
- Limited improvements to existing modules
New Earth System science and modeling chapter:
- Why are the land cover and waters of our watershed like they are?
- Where does water go? - the Hydrologic cycle
- What controls the temperature of our watershed? - the Energy balance
- How is the biologic productivity of our watershed related to the observed atmosphere, water and soil conditions? - the Carbon cycle
